Fume Hazards and Precautions
Solder alloys containing lead do not give off lead fume at normal soldering temperatures and at

which are irritating to the throat and respiratory organs, should be avoided.
Flux-Cored Solders must always be used in well ventilated areas.
Suitable fume extraction equipment should be used to extract the flux fumes away from the operators

Eating, drinking and smoking should not be permitted in the working area.
The hands should be washed with soap and warm water after handling solder, especially before eating.
